Trust Sweet Iron Dr. Bristol Loose Ring Gag Bit

The Dr Bristol mouthpiece is a double jointed mouthpiece with a flat intermediate piece. During relaxation, this insert lies flat on the tongue and applies light pressure. When the horse touches the bit with the tongue and threatens to take control, the intermediate piece tilts, causing the bit to have a sharp effect on the tongue. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.

TRUST Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface oxidization through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and stimulates the horse's saliva production in a natural way. This will cause the horse to foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit. This corrosion process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits to brown-grey.
