About Us

Who We Are

who-we-areOur mission, every day, is to help people enjoy the fun of horses. We aim to provide top quality products and services at competitive and fair prices.

Valencia Sport Saddlery opened in 2003 to serve the equestrian needs of the Santa Clarita horse community. Today, we’re gratified to have extended our reach throughout Southern California. In 2013 we relocated to Lake View Terrace to provide bigger and better facilities. We now offer more choice, and more shopping fun with a centralized location and convenient freeway access.

We continue to educate ourselves on product development and industry innovations to bring our customers the best products in quality, choice and value.

VSS promises all customers — show riders or casual riders, English or Western, beginners or champions, kids or grandparents — your every visit will be upbeat and satisfying.

Our Expertise

our-expertiseWe travel regularly to the biggest equestrian trade shows keeping abreast of developing trends, product innovations and industry news. Of course we shop and buy on these trips to bring our customers the best selection of products. We constantly introduce new and unique merchandise, often the first on the West Coast to stock a new brand.

By developing trusting relationships with local horse trainers, we have been able to tailor our inventory to meet the needs and general preferences of specific barns and disciplines.

Ecole has passed the helmet fitting certification program by Charles Owen. With her professional help, you are ensured the best fit possible.

Our staff uses and tests many new products each year to be able to give our customers direct and honest feedback.

We attend seminars, product training events, and educational meetings to offer our customers the best service and most knowledgeable information. We also offer similar learning opportunities to customers.

VSS maintains active memberships with American Equestrian Trade Association (AETA), United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), California Professional Horseman’s Association (CPHA), Pacific Coast Horse Shows (PCHA), Los Angeles Hunter Jumper Association (LAHJA), Tri-Valley Horse Shows. And others.
